Features and benefits of Pressure Gauge

Typically, a pressure gauge is a device used to measure the pressure of a gas or liquid. They are analog gauges with a circular dial and a mechanically driven pointer that have been in use for decades. In many modern applications the analog manometer is being replaced by digital manometers with a digital display and additional features, such as incorporating alarms and analog, digital or wireless retransmission of the indicated value. This type of digital manometer is often manufactured in a process housing holder that is similar in size and shape to traditional analog gauges, making them interchangeable.

A Temperature Gauge is a device used to measure temperature. Manometers were originally developed for use in measuring gas pressure in millimeters and later expanded to measure units in inches.

Types of pressure gauge

One way to reduce the number of Level Gauge in a plant is to stop installing them by default (such as the placement of pressure gauges in the discharge of each pump).  If a manometer only indicates that the pump is working, it is not necessary, since one can hear and see the state of the pump.

Even in the digital age, instrumentation for pressure measurement such as Level Transmitter continue to play an important role in the process industry, since with them you can also make a nod to the technology, through versions with electrical contacts and / or with an analog output signal.

Characteristics of the inclined pressure gauge

The inclined angle of the manometer provides many advantages. A small or small amount of pressure against the inclined manometer will produce a large movement of the liquid relative to the graduations of the tube. As a result, the graduation scale can be very precise, up to one hundredth of an inch. In addition, the simple design of the inclined manometer makes it a cheap but accurate tool for measuring gas pressure.
