Chair Pose

This helps build the quad, butt, shoulder, and ankles. Raise your arms and come to a semi-squat position. It seems as if you are sitting in an imaginary chair. It opens the chest and gives you greater stability. Be sure to hold the pose for at least 30 seconds. Do as many repeats as you want.

Downward Facing Dog

Simple but most effective in reducing stress. It is good for the muscles and tightening loose parts of the body. Bend down and touch the floor four feet in front of you. Put your head between the arms and keep your body in a V-shape. Raise your butt in the air. This strengthens hips, back, shoulder, arms, calves, hips, and hamstrings. It is helpful for strengthening the arms and legs and for lowering high blood pressure. Hold this pose for 30 seconds.
